‘It is an interesting time to be an artist and is something we will remember forever…’

This is something that was mentioned during my final year at University when myself and my course mates were trying to finish our degree through Covid.

It has stuck with me ever since and I think I speak for everyone when I say that life after has been a struggle. I am only now, finally finding my feet again and opening myself up to new opportunities.

Hello,

My name is Ellie Elliott and I am a fashion and editorial photographer based between London and Southampton. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Commercial Photography from the Arts University Bournemouth in Summer 2021.

Currently I am working as the Photography Assistant at BAFTA. This has been a dream role and I have learnt more than I ever thought possible. Working notably alongside our events, production and partnerships teams we have produced thousands of image and video assets across the Awards Seasons. Celebrating the best in Film, TV, Games and Craft we have seen our imagery on billboards, tube posters, newspaper and magazine spreads and all over social media.

Shooting both analogue and digitally, I aim to capture emotion through different styles of photography, usually linking to an underlying social political issue and bringing a contemporary angle to these.
